G'day mates,

Names Danger Dan and I've visiting from across the pond. Me quids don't go as far in U.S. compared to 'roo land back home so Virginian helped me find a ADV bike that needs a little repairs on some wanker site called craigsballz or something like that.

Let's have a look shall we. Crikey, that pommie bastage Virginian sure bought a pile of dingo dung...

Well let's have a go at it. This is going to take a lot of amber fluid to get this koala climbing a tree again. ^$(@^(*@(*$ing (*^(#^@(& m'fn Virginian...

Me trans is looking pretty good mate!

Here's a short video of the trans, not bad for a jackaroo...
https://vimeo.com/267146244

And another of the boxer in action. Virginian worked on that but me thinks he's a few Kangaroos loose in the top paddock.
https://vimeo.com/267146290

That's it for today, we're going out to a pub and have a few.

Tune in soon for Danger Dan's ADVing in the North America.

And you're safe from crocodiles while you're building it (but not stingrays).

So we get up the next morn'n and I need a cup of coffee. Virginian's trying to explain to me that I need to look more like the locals and maybe sport a mullet. I recon that ain't gonna happen... A bogan thing I reckon...

So we finally get the pelican beak bike started and I took her for a walk-about. This BMW is a fair dinkum! Right!

Now before you bunch of Sheila's start wining about ATGATT, I'm from 'strailia see. I was raised by Aborigines and I'm tuffer than a crocks hide and meaner that ostrich with a sore throat! Besides, you try and buy and an Arai XD4 that fits a 3/4" head. So don't get your wankers all tied in a knot.

So Virginian and I head out to get some coffee. He said there's only one place to go when you ride a GS I reckon.

He said leave me bags open so it looks like I'm provisioning for a trip to South America. It would add to my street cred. WTF is street cred? V said don't worry about it, let's just start with your mullet...  The two Sheila's on the right seem to like us, I should'a got their numbers! :( Right peppy gals but I think they were laughing at V.

Crikey! Look at the size of that coffee! No wonder 'mericans look like pregnant yaks...

Tune in soon for Danger Dan's ADVing in the North America.

So on our trip home after the giant coffee we head back to base camp. After a bit of a ride something starts smelling like a burnt wombat. V is riding next to me waving his arms at me. What the bloody hell is his problem this time? So I pull over and hop off the pelican beak bike and I see smoke! Get stuffed me bikes on fire!!!

Being the quick witted bloke that I am I whip out my **** and put the fire out~! They don't call me Anaconda Python Dan for noth'n back home. I better be careful so I don't get a burn this time! Right!

Crikey! I didn't shake it 'nuff and I soiled me trousers.

So V & I discuss what to do next. We opted to take the pelican beak bike back to base camp and have a go. Good thing I brought me ADV tool kit along! Right!

Off to get some amber fluids and I'm dry as an ant hill in the desert. V keeps calling me Crotchadile Grungy!? WTF is all that noise about?

Tune in for more of Danger Dan's ADV Adventures!

So V & I tear into the rear end of the pelican beak bike to find out what the problem is. Well ain't this a bucket of sand in your jockstrap... The final drive burnt up so we'll have to make a trip to the parts store.

I haves no way to get to the store so V offers to ride me down there on his scooter. I have hit a new low in me life, I'm riding Sheila biotch on a scooter... I sure hope no one takes any pictures and sends them home to me mates...

So we motor on down to the local Lego BMW Dealer©®™ to get the parts.

I whips me ADV tool kit out and off we go to the base camp. Funny how they had all the parts for this in stock in stacks in the back? Right decent of these mates, now let's get this sorted!

PS: Mrs. V washed me wanked up trousers so they're not soiled anymore. Right!

So we installed the new rear final drive and V says we need to grease the rear end. I once had a Sheila that needed her rear end greased a but but that's another story... So I take the pelican beak ADV bike out for a go. I put me bike into enduro mode so I can do some wheelies! Right!

I hit a big G-out and I had to have been 7' in the air! These big pelican beak ADV bikes can jump!

They just don't land very well... V says I didn't air down me tyres whatever that means. Wanker... So a few farkles got banged up, no worries mate, she'll be alright! What is a farkle anyways? Sometimes I think V is just pulling my python... V says this is great, you got some dirt on your tires and this will add to your dirt cred!

So I got a little banged up and I bandaged me backside and head a bit.

Now we need to fix the banged up farkles... Good thing I have my ADV tool kit to get the farkles sorted!

G'day mates,

It's been a few moons since I posted me travels in America. So here's the latest....

So V was out of town and I was watch'n his pups. Thought I might take one out on the GS for a walk-about. What is with the jackaroo'd up faces of his pups anyway?

We was doing some offroading and I hit an ostrich hole and we went up in de air like a warped boomerang. Bloody L, Ouch!

Both of hit our heads a right good wallop.

I know V's going to be angrier than 'roo with her pouch sewed up when he gets home and finds out I took his pup out for a ride! Ever since his pup hit his head she's been trying to hump me leg, I can't work on me GS with this!?

So I figure I better pack up and try me luck elsewhere as V and I will be going at like two crocs in a small pond. Oh yeah, I'm take'n his pup too! Take that you wanker! I figure I'll head south where it's a bit warmer.

Tune in for more of Danger Dan's walk-about in the south...

The end...

How this came about was on another forum 3 or 4 GS riders were busting my chops (jokingly) about my scooters so I created this thread as a parody aimed at BMW GS riders in general. All in good fun and hopefully no one got offended here on maxi scoots.

I disassembled the kit and mailed it off to another member who was going to build it and continue the adventure, when they got bored mail it on to the next one. Well... I mailed it and they never followed through, that was a year and a half ago.

Hopefully some you had fun checking in each day to see the updates.

Almost spit my drink out on that one.

Scrolled back up the post to confirm the unexpected word.

How this came about was on another forum 3 or 4 GS riders were busting my chops (jokingly) about my scooters so I created this thread as a parody aimed at BMW GS riders in general. All in good fun and no hopefully no one got offended here on maxi scoots.

This is a creative story with, intentional or not, interesting sight gags, and a fun read.
