Hi everyone, 57 year old from Fort Worth Texas.  I've been on a Burgman for the 12 years.  My current is a 2016 650 Exec.  Now that they're not making the Burgman anymore, I'll probably hang onto this one for a while.  The last couple of years, I've gotten into bike camping on weekend.

Welcome from Athens, Greece!

I found a little article about the Burgman being pulled and it sounds about right. It's getting real tough to find anything that's got a good sized power plant in it any more. Honda has a 300cc then jumps to 750cc to some hybrid scooter/cycle Yamaha still has the T-Max and is upgrading to a few more cc's. Kymco has the AK55o (see photo), BMW has a couple, and SYM has a 600cc. There are a few 400s left around but they're getting scarce too.

I know that sounds like a whole bunch to chose from in the US but over here that's a drop in the bucket! The AK is billed as a touring model but it really sin't as rider friendly as it could be. The Piaggio X10 series (discontinued after only a few years) was excellent and I'd've moved up to the 500cc if it were still around but.... And they're popular!!! For a top end scoot they were selling like hot cakes!

Anyhoo here's a link to the article. It doesn't explain much (if anything) but it'll give you something to read while you're sucking down your coffee.

I've seen that article and I hope Suzuki comes out with a decent replacement.  Just in case, I picked up a 2016 and plan on riding it until something better comes along.  I'll never go back to a clutch so it's got to be a scooter or automatic motorcycle for me.

Welcome from Chicago!

I had a 2009 SilverWing since 2010 and put almost 80,000 miles in 41 states. Then I  bought a 2018 Goldwing Tour DCT new last July.  Put 4300 miles on it last season. Love the automatic.  Enjoy your Burgman and hope to see you in AR.

Welcome aboard this board Derek!  Love Fort Worth ... especially Sundance Square and the Stock Yards.  Hope to see and ride with you in AR in September!

Welcome from a 650 rider on the other side of the DFW metroplex in Terrell.  Have a 400 too.
