John we found some of the BRP boring in VA.  But Skyline Drive does:
make up for it.  You will enjoy Gettysburg as well.  Safe travels.

We made it to Bruce’s. Road 375 miles today great weather.  No pix’s yet.  Had a lot’s of Canadian beer and conversation. Also a great meal They made for us.  Sleeping in tomorrow.

Pete and I were going to do this route after the rally:

After leaving Lake Placid if you want to get back faster you can utilize the Interstate or just stay on Rte 9.  With a smaller group that likes to ride, this will be a very doable day ride!

Thanks a bunch Maggie.

Same here Bob and I are settling in.  Got here about 4:30.  John and Tim were hanging out in front.  Texting and phones are a bit sketchy.  Can’t get a hold of Len and Karin.

Have a great time at the rally. After an extended weekend in and near New York City, with pleasant, high 70s temperatures (except when the hurricane passed offshore) to visit our daughter on 'Parents' Weekend', Mary and I returned to Atlanta airport and low 90s on Tuesday. I hope the pleasant weather holds for your rides and events!
