Good shot!

We have a peony planted along the back side of house.  This is its second year and it's really going to town.  It's rather spectacular.  We have two others in another location and they're a bit behind because they don't get as much sun.  But yeah, that is some serious red, for sure.

Wow that's gorgeous red!

Last year that plant only had 4 buds, but our grandson's dog bit all of them off except for 1, and it was less than spectacular.  This year it really came back.  It's over 2 feet tall and has quite a few buds that are now unfolding, all in that amazing dark red color.
