Don't sweat the small stuff...it's all small stuff

This is just 8 miles from us along the Glenn Hwy, looking to the southeast.  It was cold, but sunny and beautiful.

Edit:  An apology here.  For some reason when the photo copied over, it got fuzzy.  I'm going to switch to the image posting feature here and see if that makes any difference.
Edit #2:  This is better, but still not nice and sharp.  The photo on my computer is nearly razor sharp.  I don't know what's going on.

Majestic scenery!
BTW, our weatherman has been throwing around a 4 letter word for tomorrow.

Greg, the picture looks wonderful but it only blinks on for about 1/2 sec and I can only see it for another 1/2 second by refreshing the page.  Likely a problem on my computer.

Merry Christmas Don !  Hope the four letter weather word isn't rain.  That will ruin any Christmas day ...

All the best ,

Have a merry Christmas.

Hey, Mike, did you get the disappearing photo figured out?

Have a very merry Christmas.  Then go out and carve up a slope!!

No, the "R" word would be much more welcome than the "S" word but, whichever way it goes the "C" word is already happening!

Oh, yea, I don't shovel.

Nice picture. It reminds me of the views I had of snow while living in CA - from a distance and on a mountain/hillside.

Greg,  didn't get it sorted out, but it shows well now.  Really nice shot !!

We plan to carve the slopes of Martock tomorrow morning. However today they shut down early due to a chair lift problem.  With the predicted wind chill of -21C in the morning the disappointment of a non-functioning chair lift will be diminished.  That's a bit too cool for me.  LOL.

Have the aftershocks stopped by now?

Nope, we keep having aftershocks, mostly in the 3.5--4.0 level.  We've had over 5000 of them since the earthquake!!
