Very interesting concept and would work well in some parts of the world but here in the good old USA where we have all the ambulance chasing lawyers there isn't much hope.

They're all volunteers and it's a free service, I wonder if they'd be covered under Good Samaritan laws.  It certainly doesn't seem much different from me carrying a decent medkit and seeing someone go down.

I doubt it as this would be an "organized" event with money laying around so, even if there were laws, specifically written to cover this activity you can bet some Shysters would be filing nuisance suits daily.
