Well, winter has finally hit.  We got 9" of snow day before yesterday in a spectacular snowstorm.  I had to break out the snow shovel and the snowblower, so I got some exercise.  It also got cold--down to 18 degrees.  Brrrr!!  The dogs didn't appreciate it much, especially Fletcher, who, as he lets us know, is allergic to the cold.  LOL.

I agree, it's a bit chilly, but during the day when it's sunny, it's really pretty, with the fresh new snow and bright blue sky.  Sunrises and sunsets have been quite nice, too.

Too soon!   I love late fall sunrise/sunsets.

We had the most amazing September this year, and the fall colors stayed until into October.  Even October was nice, with a few days when the temps hit upper 50's.  In fact, the day before it snowed, it was in the mid-40's.  Then it snowed and the temperature dropped like a rock overnight.
