Meet:  American Legion 225 Old Sulphur Spring Rd, Manchester, MO 63021
Departure Time: 1:00pm

Come gassed up please!

Story#1: Our first story will be in the parking lot of the Legion at 1pm!

Story#3  Continue on some really nice roads to a scary Monastery.

Story#4  An Infirmary in the middle of nowhere, nuff said!

Story #5 Minnie Ha Ha… sounds funny but wait.

Ride to Maggie O'Brien's (the new one in Sunset Hills) for supper.

https://goo.gl/maps/DXPRys5NGxt

I've attached a gpx for GPS users.

As always we don’t care what you ride, even come in your car!
In the event of rain this will be moved to 10-28-18
We are on no interstates, there are some stretches that have posted 55mph.
Please RSVP by 10-15-18 so Maggie can get us a proper reservation for supper and make enough Halloween Spook bags!

On Saturday night we are taking Bruce, Bob & Cathy to Cafe Telegraph and Schlaflys.  Not sure of the time yet probably 6-7ish.   Once I get an pinpoint time from Cathy, I will let you all know. Anyone is welcome to come along.

We will drive them over in the truck.

I'll be heading out sometime later on Friday( have things that have to get done@home) and spending the night somewhere outside of Columbus. That should leave me 400-450 to do Saturday, so I'll get in early afternoon. looking forward to meeting some RCR peeps!

Maggie,  hoping to get to the motel by 4 if not before.    Bob is having a busy week at work. Got a new front tire put on last night.  He needs to put the wheel back on my Scoot.  We need to change the oil but we will see.  Looking forward to getting together.  So glad Bruce is making it down.   I will call you Friday night.

Sunny and high of 57!  Yeah for sun!

Never know how this time of the year will be, we've had this event in sleet, rain and even the odd high 80 degree day.

Can't wait to see everyone! Excited for our RCR friends to meet Bruce, Bob & Cathy!

Anyone from RCR that wants to hang out tonight, we are going to Café telegraph at 6:30.

After supper we will ride down to the Riverfront see if the arch is still there and then head over to the tap room for a nightcap.

This will be in cars not a Scoot ride.

Awesome ride for sure. Bob and I had a great time since we “blew” literally into town Saturday late afternoon.
Great roads, great food, good seeing old friends and meeting new ones (RCR members).  Maggie you dun good.  👍😊  Also, thank you 🙏🏻 for the tour of downtown St Louis at night. Cafe Telegraph and Schlafly’s. We will be back for more.  So glad we decided to come down.

Was a fantastic day! The weather and roads were perfect.  As always being with friends is the best.

I forget how much I love the roads of far West County.

So we had Cave, Osage, Children and Zombie ghosts... thanks for listening to all those spooky stories.

I was happy Brother Alan spoke to us about the Black Madonna, I am also thankful to you all for being receptive to listen.

Maggie O’Briens was a good choice.

Next year we will go east side for the Spook & Scoot.  I think we could uncover some spooky ghosts at Fort Chartres.

Thanks to all that came from far away.   I’m glad some of my Maxi Scoot friends got to meet my RCR friends.

I had a great time and it was well worth the long ride to get there and back. Thanks to all who showed up, even if only for a little while. And thanks to Freak, I have a new "next scoot" on my short list.

I found some pictures on Pete’s camera from the Spook and Scoot Ride.

As some of you knew who were at the Spook & Scoot Pete had another unusual medical thing come up just before the ride.

He had some bleeding on his liver from some cyst and some other tissues.  We thought we were in the clear and we’re just going to have surgery in a couple weeks but as you know Pete he loves the dramatic when it comes to medical issues.

Monday morning we ended up back in the hospital and this time we stayed for five days.  This time we left with a lot of relief and hope for the future that this will keep Pete out of the hospital.

He had a pacemaker put in and will deal with the liver issue and a couple of other minor issues  in a couple weeks.
