I want to see the electric one. HD made a prototype in 1976 and Wheels Through Time has it on display. Hopefully this time it will be produced.

I want to see the electric one.

Nothing in HD's current line-up generates any interest for me, but HD could change that with a quality electric motorcycle.

Harley just announced they are producing an electric motorcycle.  I am glad they redesigned a street fighter style bike.  Cannot wait to see the specs, heavy, lacking of power, poor shocks and dont forget $$$$$

I wish them well in their newfound diversity.

Do they still make Blatz Beer?  I thought that disappeared in the 60's.  My uncle delivered beer and soft drinks in Minnesota for many years, including Blatz Beer, but I thought they went past tense.

Ah, the Harley-Davidson Milwaukee.  Interesting motorcycle designs.  That streetfighter kind of resembles a recently marketed Yamaha.  Looks like H-D is realigning their target demographic.

Interesting, but prolly to little too late?  When you say Honda, for instance, any number of Honda motorcycle types come to mind.  Honda what?  Goldwing? Sport bike? Standard-SJM? Cruiser?  Even a scooter.

Say HD you really only get one image in your mind Ö big noisy cruiser.  That's gonna be a hard image to change.  Applaud the effort though.

It's not about the motorcycles- they're really going to be coming out with a new clothing line, where the real money is!

Don't know for sure, when I was growing up there were so many larger breweries in Milwaukee and Wisconsin.  Miller, Blatz, Pabst, Old Style and Hamm's which was just over the river in Minnesota.  I think some of those labels have been absorbed and are being brewed for hipster/nostalgia sake.

I don't think so, these bikes look genuinely interesting and consider the alternative of doing nothing.  I'm fascinated with the marketing side of this as well.  This is also a shot at Indian who themselves are coming out with a production model flat tracker of the Indian Scout, their first production non-cruiser.  Curious what the dealer experience will be like once they are on the showroom floor.  That's where corporate Harley meets the faithful.

In looking at the new designs they look great.  Definitely targeting the younger market.  Looking at the new designs make my hips, butt and shoulders hurt.  lol
Like all Harley products the seats will have to be replaced with something less torturous.
