Got the intial oil change done and HAD to test for leaks:-)

130 today.  WAY cooler here, PTL, this a.m.

First ride on the ferry for the Swing.

No runs, drips or errors ... or leaks.

The sales dude, and the parts guy, told me to be sure and put the washer on with the oil filter OR it would leak.

Wut?  No such washer came off with the old filter.  No apparent place for the washer they had taped to the new Honda filter I purchased with the scoot.  I reckon another case of da dealer not knowing squat about a scooter:-(

There is no such washer for the oil filter. There is an O ring that goes on the drain  plug however.

Are you enjoying the new Silverwing?

Yup. A lot. Maybe a little soon for a review ... but it is more or less the happy medium between the 400 and 650.  Mo powa than the 400 but less weight/bulk than the 650.  The new ain't wore off yet:-)
