Let's Ride!!!!!!

« on: June 14, 2018, 03:07:47 PM »

8 years ago... man where does the time go! This was HAMS - St. Louis. HAMS (Heart of America Maxi Scoot) was a precursor to our present Maxi Scoot Rally we have every September.

Ah yes.  That's how it all began with that inaugural, delicious taco salad (thanks for that recommendation Maggie) and my first, long scooter trip that resulted in my developing a severe case of  monkey butt on the ride back home to Canada.  Ouchy!

Wow! That was so long ago that the bikes were sometimes painted colors other than grey.

I enjoyed the pics, but I thought the title indicated "hams" as in ham radio operators. I always like it when two of my hobbies intermingle (such as RV'ing and ham radio). Anyhow, for any other amateur radio folks, my callsign is AF8JC.

You were almost right. There's more than a few hams around here but I don't know how many also talk on the radio.
