Been so busy that I have not had time to post something for a while, tho I do keep in touch with thats going on here...

Not today, but little more than fortnight ago....
Destination...

Kaikoura - if that tree could tell it's story....

Reason....

Kaikoura is well known for its excellent seafood. This was documented with my Mobius video camera (next to my wallet) set to time-lapse photos at every 2s.

To get there along the inland route.....

To get home the coastal route..

No not tunnel vision from spending too much time in the saddle...

All in all another +600km perfect trip on a perfect bike.

Great pics and a great trip.

It reminds me so much of Vancouver Island.

Wow - another beautiful country I'd love to see (one day).

Why did you sell the Citycom?

Excellent trip, Kiwi!  Such beautiful landscape, don't know which route I like better, inland or coast.  Lucky you, you can do both.

When I read you documented the wonderful seafood with time lapse photos I had thought we would see your plate of food disappear frame by frame.  :D

Why did you sell the Citycom?

I though an Mazda MX5/Miata could take the place of it, but I missed two-wheels to much. Would've loved to have both, but the fall-out from the 2010/2011 earthquakes meant I had to downsize. That Citycom was a great scoot, did 48000kms in the 3.5 years I owned it. Never missed a beat even for 900miles in 20 hours.
Now "The Deau" is doing just fine...& life is great

Well an old friend the Citycom turned up on Trademe (New Zealands equivalent of Craigs list).

https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/motorbikes/motorbikes/scooters/auction-2533922812.htm?rsqid=e3e0297d0f024fe693b1f8dc2e2dc674-001

looks a little sad now. I do have so many fond memories of adventures on that scoot. Still going strong at 60 000kms and there is one advertised with 77 000 kms on. Great scoots.
