Hiya, folks!

I'm suffering from a bit of confusion with the Instrument Cluster vs. the Owner's Manual of the 400i.

They don't match.

This is the manual. It doesn't show the same things as the actual Instrument Cluster.

This is the actual Instrument Cluster.

Note, on the right side of the panel, just below the turn signal indicator, there's an icon light of a cell phone. I have no idea what this does, and there is no information about it in either the Owner's Manual or the Service Manual from Cyclepedia.

I would like to find out what this does.

Any suggestions on how to obtain this information? Someone out there knows...

I'd write Kymco directly if it were me.   There are good to respond or they always were to me when I had  Kymco.

Have you tried searching a Bluetooth connection, some Kymco's have this feature. Not sure if the Kymco's app is available in the USA.

Pairing with your phone via Bluetooth, the Noodoe shows gauges and your choice of photos while riding, and switches to social media notifications when the bike is stopped. It will also let you design your own dashboard, with a variety of customizable info displays.

I suppose I could, although I hadn't really given it any thought. I guess I just wanted to try to figure it out without bugging the distributor.

Have you tried searching a Bluetooth connection, some Kymco's have this feature. Not sure if the Kymco's app is available in the USA.

Now that is something I never would have considered. To the point that I don't even have an idea how to go about doing it. And there's nothing in the manual about it, (owner's or service!) so I wouldn't know what to look for, passwords, or anything!

But I will do a little research!

Thanks gang!

Okay, I just went out and fired up the bike, and opened my phone's Bluetooth, with no result. My phone found no Bluetooth devices to pair with.

So, I'm back to the drawing board.

Yep. That's exactly what I'm going to have to do.
