My latest MPG reading using Acar App. Al, Thanks for sharing your data and it sure looks like you're getting great mileage with an average of 73.4 mpg. Here's a peak at mine.. Also, did you wind up getting the USB kit that we chatted about? Eric

I test road some single cylinder scooters. Great for traffic but found them lacking in open road or mountain performance. But with that said I am 225 lbs and 6'. Once I got use to the power of two cylinder scooters it would be hard to do down a cylinder.

Murf, That's a fair statement. All I can say is this little 300 gets on down the road nicely but that said it will never be a twin cylinder. I wish i had a huge barn and had one of each to use. Eric

That's great mileage, as far as I'm concerned, for a scooter of that size. Eric- if it has room for you, it should be good for my manly 5'-10", 250lbs frame. It it will do steady 75mph without killing itself, it has a good possibility of becoming my next scooter.

Come on down to Casa De Redneck and take up and down the BRPW or Skyline Drive. Honestly, it's tough to take a demo on something and make a long term decision to see if it works for you. Anywho, offers on the table.

Gentlemen, Eric and Murf, I am in the fortunate or unfortunate position of having two bikes that are basically large displacement scooters, a TMAX and a Honda DN-01. I also have an FJR which is totally different, as I'm sure you guys know. Last winter I tried to buy a house with a garage in southeast Kentucky. I was thinking that I would rent the house to a tenant and just keep the garage. I wanted to put one of my bikes in the garage, so I could drive down from Chicago on a couple winter weekends that were weather appropriate and go riding from there.
Making a long story short the locals in Cynthiana, KY made it clear to me that they didn't like my idea. I went to the local bank and they dishonored the Cashier's Check that I deposited to open an account. So I gave up on that idea. On the other hand if one of you gentlemen would consider letting my TMAX live in your garage for the winter and let me use it a couple of times a winter, I would consider covering the expenses and letting the garage owner use it whenever I'm not around.

@gurock1 - storage unit There are a few to choose from in Cynthiana, KY. One even has a 5* rating! What more could a scooter want?

Gurock1, I wish I could help you but I have 2 cars and 4 scoots stuffed in my garage as it is now. Like Expat47 suggested, I would go the storage unit route. They're in just about every town and some a temperature controlled. Good luck, Eric

Installed the Comfort Seat today! Adds good back support and thicker foam. I'd suggest getting one.

Thanks for posting the video Alloo. It’s interesting, even though I am vertically challenged, I had the same opinion of the seating/legroom for the Vespa and Beverly as the evaluator did.

Got to see an XMAX today. Made it to the TWT Pie Run and a fellow rode one to it. Nice looking scoot. His first scooter after riding motorcycles for years. Said he loves it.
