I found an EXCELLENT price for Bridgestone BT-TH01 rear tires for your Burgman 650:

160/60R-14 Bridgestone BT TH01 Scooter Rear Tire $68.88
sold by Chaparral Motorsports on the Walmart.com website.

Free shipping, too.  At that price, I ordered two on Thursday.  Frankly, I expected a cancelled order with a BS excuse like "sorry, that was a computer mistake".  Nope, they arrived in good condition via UPS - ON SATURDAY!

I expected stale tires, but both are dated 2017: one in the 16th week; the other, 36th.

The website says they have five left, but it said that when I placed my order.

Go get em before they raise the price!

Don't bother to try to order these.  Evidently they are already out of them.  Ordered one Monday and after waiting all week for it to ship got a notice today that the order was cancelled.  Robin also ordered one with the same results.

I put a Shinko rear tire on my Burgman 650 before riding to Minocqua last fall. Now have 9,869 miles on it and not down to the wear bars yet. Will replace before my 1500 mile ride Memorial day weekend.
Tire was about $50.00.
I Have run Shinko tires on my Burgman 400 for the last three years and love them. I ride my 400 over 13,000 per year.

My experience with Shinko tires has been all bad.  Had the tread separate on one on the back of my 400.  It had less than 2000 miles on it.  Replaced it with another Shinko and it did the same thing.  For that reason I've been reluctant to try one on the 650.

Shinko tires were excellent on my no longer owned Suzuki TU250X. Never tried them on a maxi-scooter, though.

I had them on my Bet and Win and they were the best wearing tires ever.

The other reason I have not put one on the 650 is that it is a bias ply tire.  Nothing against bias ply tires but the 650 was designed to run with a radial.  Switching to a bias ply will cause a chance in the handling characteristics.  Whether that change will be noticeable to someone depends on a number of things.  Those would include how and where you ride.  I haven't convinced myself to experiment with it yet.  I know and am comfortable with how the bike responds with radials.
