After months of scouting out a deal on a later model-lower mileage Burgman .... it happened yesterday day.

2011 Burgman 400. 5693K. ABS. WHITE! Pearl white I think?:-)    Best part .... $2200 OMG! :-):-):-)

Rode it 75 miles home last night ... it did great.  (But Gee, I hate riding at night.)

Can't wait to get my Corbin seat on it AND my Givi topcase. woo hoo!

My 2007 Burgman 400 with 27K, and My 2007 Burgman 650 with 43K will likely be coming to a Classified Section near you.

Nicely done, sirkitrider-2!

Very lovely machine, and a superb deal you negotiated!

Tennessee, eh? Makes me wonder where everyone else is. There ought to be one of those map things that we could click on and enter our location! If I knew how, I'd set it up, but I don't have a clue how to even begin something like that.

Great bike, great find, and an obviously proud new papa!

EasyPeasy, Zeemaps.com. Start the map. Post the link here. There will be 2 links, one for admin and one for forum use. Person that starts the maps has admin rights. Anyone that adds their own pin will get a link to modify it in the future(or ask the admin). Can choose pin color or other info depending on if the person starting it adds or takes away any other fields. Can even add html for those that want as long as the admin leaves the text box for use. Can assign addition permissions and passwords for additional admins/editors for back up. For example, I do one for our CTX forum and give the secondary password to the mods. That way if I'm off or stop using the forum, the mods can continue it.

Sounds like a great deal
And, for those that think one color is faster than all the others...
White is a combination of ALL colors!
So, sound barrier, hear we come!

Actually, black is. White is the absence of color-but I like it anyway.

Given the lack of parameters in each statement, both statements are true depending on the context.
However, since the context is totally subjective, the parameters will be chosen to fit the individual making the claim.
Also, logically considering the basis of the claims, said logic is non existent.
Using said non-logic, and considering I'm the current owner of a black scooter, my own evidence would support minimac

You, Mr. Clampett, have a lot in common with the metaphorical Christmas goose my father had want to reference when subjected to "logic" you chose to display in your reply.

But, white is the presence of all colors. "Color", as we humans perceive it is a wave of light. without light there can be no color.
Proof: imagine you're in a deep, dark cave where no light can enter. What "color" do your eyes "see"?

So, because white has all those light waves bouncing off of your scooter the speed is increased by all those little "pushes". Conversely, because black traps all those light waves they increase the overall weight of your scooter and, thereby, making it slower.

XA!

While true in your context, you fail to consider the focusing of the pressures due to the shape engineered by Honda. The body has been designed to focus the waves so they go around the special designed tupperware due to the wave properties of light, creating a vacuum resulting from the Bernoulli effect thus making my scooter super light once reaching rotation speed of 45 mph. That is why I installed the Givi screen as suggested by the many backyard mechanics in an effort to keep the scooter in ground effect giving the illusion it is still comparable to the white versions.

You don't see anything if light can't enter. You need light to see. Otherwise, you see nothing, and nothing is not a color. I know I'm right-it was on the interweb.

Anyways, O.P., great deal on the new to you scoot. Hope it works out well for you.

Nice scooter ... looks great and the price .... WOW!

Here is what the Google aliens have to say about colors ... "Colors are embellishments for the universe. In the visible spectrum, WHITE REFLECTS LIGHT, and is not the absence of light.  However, BLACK ABSORBS LIGHT and is the absence of color.  Black can be correctly identified as the visual impression experienced by a person when no light can reach the eye".

^^ whatever this means ... ^^  I guess we all should be visually impressed?

LOL. Youz guyz.  Black and white. What it is and what it ain't.:-).

I didn't really put that much thought into it. BUT I did intentionally buy a white scoot just because I think a white scoot/car is really sharp.  My 650 is white also.

My 1st 400 was silver. 2nd 400 was gray. Then the white 650. Each of those was bought not for the color ... the "deal" dictated the color choice.   This nu2me 400 WAS a color choice. The "deal"  was a bonus. I was intentionally looking for a white one.

In fact ... 2 weeks ago I turned down DEAL on a 2015, 3200 miles, showroom condition, $3300, b/c it was black.  And it was $3300, which was more than I wanted to spend:-(.   BUT,  If it had been $2200 I would bought regardless of the colorless black:-).
