A small farm in a hollow. They have a working windmill.

As I was looking at some of the old abandoned buildings, bridges, etc., I saw the flowers in a church parking lot.
I pulled in and took the photo. Across the road was a LEO I'd seen a mile back.
Guess I was acting suspicious. So, after taking this shot, I go over and talk to him explaining the how/why of my actions.
He was friendly then. At least he didn't harass me first like some.

Kept seeing equipment close to the road today. Then on this narrow one lane, there was a good photo op for Ying.
She jumped right on the equipment ignoring the do not climb sign.....oh, she can't read.....

Well, the "Sybil" thing kind'a gave it away.

I guess that temple was built by Caesar Byrrus Cervixium in MCMXXIV when he invaded Alabama for the 2ed time?

Now, believe it or not.. about the ONLY ancient temple around here that I can get the scoot close enough to to get a decent shot of is a Roman temple in the agora in downtown Athens! Everything Greek is fenced in, locked up, and hidden behind trees!

Nice mural of my old Packard convertible....ooops...they musta painted over it:

One sweet smelling town....

White House restaurant. They have photos of all the presidents lining the wall around the dining area.
I'll try to get a shot or two later inside. Used to go here often with mom before her stroke....memories:

For any of the lard rear ends, this chair is big enough, me thinks for sittin' in the yard and sippin' the ice tea:

 danceing

The kids enjoy going with dad to the mower repair shop:

Not exactly Hollywood, but I like this signage for the ball field:

Yes, but seeing how she is under age, I can't post incriminating photos....I'm sure you understand

Sitting here keeling time and looking threw the odd pictographs. Remembering Star's mom (Maroon 2005 model) and the gud times we had.
Sharing a few memories(2005):
After seeing shyted155 camper photo, reminded me of my old homemade setup and travel out to the west coast.

and even yarns ago, me still loved me some purdy flower pics.

Another beautiful day in Paradise (also known as Alabama).
Those that have followed my CTX adventures have already seen all of the farm.
Here is a sample:
Ying's mom looking at the Maule

Flirting to get out of a ticket

So, you see she comes by it natural.
Ying is still young, playful, and loves to climb on things though.
While I'm shooting the pano, she starts on the tail of the Maule. Seeing how no one is inside and the yoke is locked,
I let her go have fun.

She just goes from one end to the other

Then she decides she can fly the thing...fortunately, she can't fit the seat and reach the controls,
let alone see where she is going!!!!!

no...I use 2 different lens for shooting. One is wide for those times when I can't back up far enough to get everything into view.
She also had her hoodie on for some reason...don't get it, it was 90F out there.
But, I'll still tell her you asked. Women like it when you think they lookin' slim and trim!!!

Got Star to the shop for some new shoes. Went ahead and got both new shoes. This is a 2012 and I have 7,000 miles on her. Don't know what she had as far as maintenance by previous owner, so changed the belt & fluids. New aluminum valve stems. Wow....she is so quite now. Didn't realize those old tires were singing so loud.
Less belt clatter too. Smoother. Of course she feels that much better after each cleaning too!!!!

Ran errands. Charger went out of neighbors powered wheel chair. Got an old used one and wire it in. Visited mom. Went to hardware to replenish supplies to the electrical drawer.
Hey, still got an hour before I need to take care of the honey do's. Time to get a tag. Well, this one ain't moved. Checked the other forums on Tapatalk.

Boom chocalaca boom....The UPS store tag was just up the road:

and right behind that store is a tire store for the next tag. File these for future new tags elsewhere
