Today marks my third day without a drop of soda or alcohol of any kind and running 2 miles each day. I've stopped eating meat, cheese, bread, cake or anything sweetened.
The change in my body has already been fantastic! I feel great, look great, and my whole outlook is more positive. I plan to make this my new lifestyle. Eating healthy vegan, gluten and sugar-free and working out for 2 hours every day.

I don't know whose status this is, but it said to copy and paste.

I went over to the scales at work to see what my real weight was. The scales are calibrated weekly.
I stepped up on the scales and a voice said "One at a time please!"

Guess I should have named this thread "Getting in shape"? Round is a shape, right?

I can't go back to the beach any more. Last weekend I went out to get a tan and the kids on the beach all came around and started shoving me toward the waves.
I was so startled. They were dragging me on my blanket and I couldn't get up due to the hammock shape of the blanket rolling me toward the center.
Then they all started to chant "Save the whale, save the whale...."

I sometimes eat left overs. Don't really like to see food go to waste... but if it must go to waste, then it might as well be my waist that it goes to.
(it doesn't stick much though... been 150-155# since my teen years... and I'm eligible for SS now... Most I ever weighed was 165# one winter
and I felt a bit bloaty. Oh I could still see my feet when I looked down, but DAYAM! it was huffing and puffing to bend over and tie my shoes)
guess I'm just a light weight.

A light weight with masochistic tendencies.
