Looks like a score for Honda. 90 lbs less than the GL1800 is not a bad thing.

So it's an 800+ lb bike instead of a 900+ lb bike.  Still a fatty.  It looks real nice though and bet it rides wonderfully.

I find myself warming up to the new, more hard-edges sporty look to the new Gold Wing.  And yes, even at 800 pounds, itís still a heavy weight.  However, I imagine itís more fun to ride than the privious editions.  The one thing I find unacceptable is in the Gold Wing basic model is that there is no centerstand.  It will be hard to do any service on it, particularly removing the rear wheel to put a new tire on.  It appears to me that this replaces the older F6-B, but it should have a centerstand.  Otherwise, it certainly seems to be full of features for the touring rider.  Yup, looks like a win for Honda.  Even at $31 large for the airbag model.

I like it. I'm also a pauper playing in a king's world. So my 02 will suit me fine for many years.

The only thing that seems to wear out on a Gold Wing, is the tires.

Yeah, it's basically a car engine that's only pulling 900 pounds.
