Just curious if any other scooter types made it this year. First ride on the new Burgman. A little cold when I left home but still a great ride and a lot of bikes there. Had the required burger and saddled up and left for Texas.

Glad to see a few others made it. I got there fairly early and parked about a five minute walk away from the store. I saw about every other type of bike but didn't run across another "scooter" while there. That was my first trip to the MLR and I plan to make it next year, good Lord willing. Makes me curious about the total number of bikes that make it to there. Whuda ever thunk it that a place that small could host such an event and gather so many people?

I don't know how many bikes were there but I spoke to Helen (owner) when we were leaving and thanked her for having us.  She said at that time she didn't know the numbers but it was the best year ever.

I saw this a few days later on their facebook page.

Moonshine Store updated their status.
April 8 ·
Our new record for Moonshine lunch run is 3362 burgers!! Thank you everyone!!!

Holy crap, that's 840 burgers!
If you've never been to Moonshine, they're not exactly set up for high volume.
Impressive.

I guess you were going per hour?

And yes that is impressive.  They have a good system for moving the line along.  The shear number of people makes for a wait time regardless.

No matter the wait as it gave us time to visit with Bob and Kathy.

I meant 840 pounds, figuring 4 to a pound.
That's a lot of meat. And I'm not sure it's 4 to a pound, the burgers are pretty big.

I believe they are 1/3pound burgers.

The amazing thing is even on Moonshine Run Days they try and hold with tradition that the grills go off at 12:30.... however it's impossible.  I think I read they stayed open till about 2 this year.
