Cell phone pic - my only camera.

A little ride with my Helix buddy after a  6 am breakfast meet up today.

This is the Helix I first rode to "see if" I wanted to start riding. He let me ride it around a parking lot for 1/2 hour and then a mile down the road and back.  I got bit with the riding bug.  Dec. 2005 Bought my own Helix to learn to ride and get my license.

The Helix will always have a special place in my heart.  I gotta find a picture of that original one I owned to post. Ah, but the 400, and 650, are really special to me now:-)

I took about 60 pictures to get this one just "right".  Jasper is fidgety when outside with all the animal activity going on.  For a cell phone camera, I will take this. I did not alter with any photo app, this came right out of the camera like this.

Thanks all.  He's a big cat about 16lbs but not overweight.   We think he has some Maine Coon in him.  Our other cat Lucky who I think is big is a dwarf when near her big brother.

Lucky is adventurous.  When we travel she has to see it all.

These turned out well for a dark setting.  The last picture I had the most issue with.  Not sure if it was the blue glass or the dyed black water.  I just could not get any clarity.

#2: If that's a dragonfly in the "corner" down from the blue bulb and left of the green then I'm impressed!
#3: The camera may not have been able to lock with a good focus or the focus ended up being somewhere you weren't expecting?

That last one presents a very difficult lighting situation and the irregular shaped objects make it difficult for the camera to attain focus.  It's dim, yet very contrasty, and the light meter can get confused.  I think, for what it is (the subject) and the fact that you were using a smart phone to take the picture, it turned out fairly well.  It would have been difficult even for a more sophisticated camera with all the controls available to use.  All of those are very interesting shots.  Thanks for sharing, Maggie.

No dragonfly on that one.  Here's one ;)

I think being rushed and not being able to focus more and use the AE Exposure feature on the iphone didn't help with the blue stuff.   1400 people behind you waiting so you didn't have much time to adjust things.

Reviewing my pictures, anything with a lot of blue was really washed out.

New app I found for editing still photos.  It's called Cinemagraph.  The app is Platograph.  Something different.

That's a great shot of the crane (or is it an egret?) strutting past the boat in the background.

The trip to FL was long :-)   From Lake Superior to Gulf a Mexico in a span of few days was looong!
We left the Spyder at home.  The weather was just to unpredictable.  Pete's brother faired well, really just natures tree trimming.  This morning I helped him get three piles on limbs etc to the dump.

Greg, I think so... I am so bad with bird species.
