Don't sweat the small stuff...it's all small stuff

Today PeggySuz and I went for adrive up to Talkeetna, about 75 miles north of here.  It was a spectacular day so I took my new camera with me.  I took some pics of Denali, aka, Mt.McKinley, which was out in all its glory.  Since I have my right hand in a partial cast, it was interesting trying to hoid the camera and take pictures.  So anyway, here's "The Mountain," as it's referred to here.

Great shot and I SERIOUSLY don't think you can have any complaints about the camera.

Nope, none at all.  It'll be better when I get rid of this cast and my hand is healed up.

Today is like yesterday, but unfortunately our day is all taken up with other stuff.  Come summer when the snow is gone, we will go up to the overlook for pix, then drive back dow to the McKinleyview Princess Lodge for coffee, just a couple miles south of there.

Some people live in paradise.  The rest of us have to make our own paradise

We all gave our own paradises, but admire others' paradise.  Different places have different kinds of beauty, and there is some I've seen that rivals anything we have up here, just in a different way.  For instance, Utah has some real jaw-dropping scenery, unlike anything in Alaska, and the Canadian Rockies are in a class of their own.  Which is why we all like to travel.  Unfortunately being up here sort of restricts our travels.  Unless some kind benefactor is willing to give us a checkbook or card with carte blanche.  Ok, so I can dream, can't I?
