While this is a bit out of the normal price range for alot of folks, has anyone had a chance to get a look at one of these in person? http://www.skully.com/

The geek side of me wants one enough to try and save for it but having not seen one at a demo I'd be leary as to if i'd like it or how well it would integrate with my current tech.

The day that I have to worry about...."Is my helmet charged", is the day I stop riding!!!

Considering the lifespan of a helmet, in essence you're buying into the problem of replacing all your electronics when you replace your helmet. Thanks, but NO! I also have several helmets that I rotate use of depending on my mood, but all my electronics are valid no matter which one I use. I do not want or need an all-in-one helmet.

Kind of cool in a geeky way, but I agree with Steve. Having that tech (rear-view camera) built into a bike is one thing, but in a helmet it would be more distracting than helpful. I mean, we are not in fighter jets and really don't need a heads-up display. Having that movement in my peripheral vision might be confusing. So until I get a bike with a rear view camera, I will keep looking at those two shiny things attached to stalks on my handle bars.

Now it appears they just took the money and ran. Just another form of corporate entitlement. Really wrecks it for any true entrepreneurs out there trying to fund their dreams and return a product or dividend to investors.

I have a nasty habit of just hanging my helmet on the handlebars when I pull a bike in the garage, but when I wear my bluetooth helmet it always gets hung on its hook on the wall so I can plug it in to be charged. Kinda nice that it forces me to be tidy.
