Over on the TU250X forum, a member mentioned an LED replacement for the rear tail/brake light with an integrated brake modulator. I received the recommended unit from the following...

This is a 'plug and play' replacement, requiring less than two minutes, start to finish. Remove two screws, remove the tail light lens, replace the bulb, and reverse the first two steps.

But first, a peek at the stock tail light in action (the faint flashing you may note was apparently reflected from my camera)....

Not bad, but the previously mentioned 'improvement' now appears...

LED with modulator:

This is definitely worth the modest cost. I may install additional running/brake lights similar to those on my Yamaha FZ-09. If you're interested in the serious/humorous/bizarre thread in the TU250X forum, here it is...

Wonder if that will work in older bikes with the standard 1157 bulb in it. I'm thinking for my 1978 GoldWing.

It should...as long as the bulb socket
points directly at the taillight lens.
