I've been putting a lot of miles of my PC just getting to know it. We've been getting A LOT of rain also. Not so much as Texas but still a lot. Even for this area.

Yesterday we took a ride up north of here to the Minocqua/Eagle River/St Germain area. We went by so many lakes....lets just say its been a while since I've rode by so much water.
I stopped by the Eau Claire Dells and snapped a couple pics of the water raging through it. These pics were taken with my phone so the quality may not be so good.

On my way back from Adams/Friendship today I found this spot just north of Pittsville. Has a nice Little Bar/Grille right here. Going to bring the gang here next week for lunch. This is the Yellow river.

dells of the eau claire near wausau. SB if you get on 55 going thru the menominee nation there are lots of falls on the wolf  to see. some are not too easy to get to because of the gravel roads but the time and effort to get there is well worth it.

Yup just rode a good part of it Wednesday. Took 64 Antigo to M through White Lake to 55 south to the other M then headed back east on M to Neopit, Zoar, Phlox....

When I was younger we did the Shot Gun Eddy's raft run down the Wolf River. What a blast. Today I would probably drown. Also off of 55 there's that mile or so dirt road that goes to a neat dells area where you can watch the rafts go through standing on 30 ft cliffs (For the life of me I can't think of the name Buffalo something??) Terrible road for motorcycles. Well worth it when you get there!

Have you ever taken that M east to Neopit? Then you could take 47 to get back to Shawano.
That M is a beautiful curvy road with long sweeping curves. No houses or anything on that road until you get just outside Neopit.

i've never been on "M" i'll have to make sure to do that this year. i like the fall color ride thru the reservation....it smells so good. we usually take 55 north thru shawano, then take 47 to county S to 64. go east on 64 to 55 and back to shawano.
