Day before yesterday my 16 year old grandson, Ryan, and I, went salmon fishing about 60 miles north of here on Montana Creek.  We caught these nice silver salmon (aka Coho's).  I caught two others and released the one in the photo as it had already started to color up, and the meat isn't much good when it colors up.  The bright ones, however, were outstanding.  We had them for dinner last night.  Made coconut salmon in the deep fryer.  Yumm, Yumm!

OH YEAH!!  It was.  Now, if you had just gone a little (well, a lot) further north you could have had a sample.

Yeah, I feel real bad about that.  Yuk, Yuk.  Unless you are referring to me as their potential meal, that is.  Then I don't feel so bad.  LOL!
