The battery on Ratchet's 2009 TU250X failed suddenly. Fortunately, the failure occurred while parked in the garage at home. Over on the TU250riders.com site, at least one member was significantly inconvenienced at the time of battery failure. So looking at the big picture, my problem wasn't such a big deal. But after working flawlessly since purchasing Tabby used, her battery suddenly had less than six volts. After some checking for information on replacement batteries, I decided to try Motobatt which is a name I did not know previously.  The battery is now fully installed; Ratchet and Tabby are back on the road once again! |

The Motobatt battery is a good one. I had one in my 650. It lasted about the same length of time as the OEM one did. It might have lasted longer except I had a stator go bad and it would not keep the battery charged. That likely caused to battery to fail sooner than it otherwise would have.

I installed a Motobatt when mine died. I had heard good things about them and they shipped quickly since they are in the same state.
