That's beautiful, Maggie.  We had nearly a foot of the white stuff the other day and the temperature dropped as low as 14 degrees.  Then Saturday we had a huge sleet storm and that was a mess.  Then Sunday it started to warm up and yesterday it was as hight as 47 degrees at one point, and most of the snow is gone.  This morning I got up at 6am and it was still 40 degrees out.  We thawed out a couple New York steaks yesterday, and I think I'll uncover the grill and fire it up.  Thanks for sharing the image of icy beauty.

We gets the bad feeling that we might just get a few of them thar dreaded ice crystal thinga majigs this year. Those once in a decade infestations are so pretty to be so debilitating.

Nice pics. Maggie.  Just starting to have some flurries here.  Forecast says 1-3 inches.  We are on the northern edge of the storm.

So pretty!  We've been having the best sunrises this week WHEN the sun can get through.  We missed Venus and Jupiter conjunction as well as the lunar eclipse this week!

I just have to brag a bit on my grandson, Ryan.  He took this picture of Portage Glacier, south of Anchorage, last year.  He has a knack for composition and light.  He'll take a photo of a large scene, and then extract the picture he wants out of it.  I like this one for its moodiness and texture.

I thought so, too.  Sorry I couldn't get a larger image to post, but Photobucket gives me fits.  I highlighted it, clicked to copy it, but it wouldn't copy over to here.  Oh well.  I may give Flickr a try.

Thanks, Don.  Once he decides exactly what it is that he wants to do, he'll really take of I think.  He's got an eye for composition and light, and he knows how to use it.  That one's definitely a wall hanger.
