  wonder how much Piaggio had to do with designing the fuel system for the BMW

The BMW F650 bikes have been notorious for stalling/surging issues ever since they went with FI in about 2001.

Maybe the BMW motorcycle Div. needs to get someone
from their automotive Div. to help them with their
Fuel Injection design.
I can almost guarantee that the BMW automobile drivers
would never put up with such issues.
