That comes out to about 1.63Euros @ liter or just over $8.00 @ US gallon. We're up to 1.76 Euros per liter over the weekend.

So have we.  Futures prices for gasoline continue to slide too so the declines should continue ar least for a while.  Of course someone could sneeze in the middle east and the prices could run right back up.

Ours only dropped a dime. Should of been more compared to the price per barrel. Still getting ripped off.

Ours dropped this weekend from a high of $1.359/litre ($5.16 US gallon) to $1.204/litre ($4.57 US gallon).

Still, its more obscene profits for the oil companies.

Me too but i still notice the differences on my weekly fill ups, probably more so that a cager.

When I first got my little scoot in 2006 it was 4.85 to fill up now it is double or just slightly less.

Over that amount of time it does make a difference.  Week to week since I don't always pump the same amount of gas I only notice it is far less than what my wife uses

We are still around $1.29 a litre.
Driving to Peoria for an extended weekend.
Fill up in Michigan.

you'll pay too much around Ann Arbor or Jackson -- not so much to the East or West.  If you use premium (like my MX5 and MINI) be aware that the differential between reg and prem varies from brand to brand.

They don't know what they want to do with prices, I bought gas last night @ 11:13 pm for 3.429, then early afternoon I checked the gasbuddy.com site and that same station I bought it at last night had went down to 3.399 now at 7:20 pm their up to 3.599.

Latest inventory reports show the supply of gasoline has declined.  That indicates we may see the price start to increase again.

Looks like the traders  think the drop in inventory is only temporary.  Futures prices are down again today.  Might be because the spread between WTI and Brent crude keeps dropping.

It's been 3.69 here for a couple weeks now. Good that it hasn't gone up! Bad cause it also hasn't gone down.

Good news here is, We sold our 30 year old motorhome that got 7 to 8 mpg. Got a good price for it to!

Last week in Peoria at Costco I bought gas for $3.43 a gallon. Was a nice break from Canadian prices.
At Watertown on the way home it was $3.79, still much less than $1.31 a litre.

It's $3.53 at my local station.

Interesting artical in the paper yesterday about how ethanol is currently affecting the price of gasoline because of the goofy way they wrote the rules on blending it into gasoline.  The refiners can only blend so much alcohol into the gas before they hit the 10% limit that most cars can handle.  When they wrote the law requiring it's use they said the refines had to use at least so many gallons of alcohol not a certain %.  The problem is the demand for gasoline has declined so that if they use the amount of alcohol they are suppose to they will go over the 10% blend.  To get around it they can buy credits from other refiners that are below their quota.  However as more and more refiners are hitting their limits the price of these credits are going up.  That higher cost for credits is being added to the cost of the gasoline we buy driving it up.

I'm not going to dispute this article or any in regards to the price of oil/gas. Its all physcobabble rap to me. They tell the public what they want to so they can charge what they want to. Simple. And we just sit back & pay, pay, & pay more.

We've reduced our oil consumption & still get penalized for it. We we add ethanol to it to make it go further & get penalized for it. They just keep dreaming up stories/futures to charge us more.

I can remember the days when they said Gas would be going up a penny! But we wouldn't see the increase @ the pump for 3 months!

Winters getting long here............need to get a scoot out!!! So I can bend over less!!!
