Here in Europe (at least the sunny parts) scooting is more about daily transportation than cruising the highways and byways so I guess I can't claim that as a hobby. What I can claim, however, is photography.

Back in the day of glass lenses I owned a double handful of cameras, lenses, filters, studio lighting, and a dark room. I managed to make a few $$$ off of it and had a couple of shows. When I got fed-up with shooting babies, weddings, parties and I couldn't sell any of the important work I sold my equipment and hung it up.

Fast forward to 1990 when I borrowed my brother's digital and headed off to Orlando. THAT WAS FUN! But it wasn't until 2002 when I popped for a little Fuji S5000 and got hooked. I'm now shooting with a Nikon D90 and have a couple of lenses that keep me in pixels. And, that's the point... digital photography has done away with the mess and expense of a darkroom and even makes touch-up much easier.

Anyhow, now when the wife and I travel (usually every year sees us somewhere different) the camera is close to hand and I come away with a few shots worth bragging about. Most of what I do now could fall into the category of "vacation pictures" but I like them and hope y'all will enjoy them too.

http://www.imagesby.me is my website and y'all are most welcome to come and spend some time.

Here's a little shot overlooking Uquart Castle on Lock Ness.

And, from the other end of Europe, here's Agia Sophia in Istanbul, Turkey.

Oh, yea, we've got one of these, too.

Come on over when you have the time. http://www.imagesby.me .

This isn't a forum I get into, but decided to check it out this morning--only 4 years after the fact.  Nice touch catching Nessie in that first one.  LOL!
