Got to ride the Wing about 50 miles. It sure feels nice in a wierd sort of way to be back on a motorcycle again. I haven't owned one since July of 06.
The shifting is like rollerskating you just pick it up as if it were yesterday. I have a heel/toe shifter & Its sometimes hard finding it!
It seems the handle bars are a bit forward to my likeing. Tried loosening up the 4 studs to no avail. Got them soaking in WD 40. I feel like I'm half slouched over in the croch rocket position. I must of schrunck since I last rode this bike

The wing is much wider than anything I've owned in 6 years & I feel "Spread Eagle" sitting on it. Even with the floorboards. I can't get my feet in the forward position I'm acustomed to since riding scoots. I'm sure Hiway pegs will be in the future.

Whats interesting is remembering that this is a antique. I MUST REMEMBER to turn off & on the gas each time I get on it. And kickstand up! As there is no safety switch to not start it.
I also can't quite flat foot it so its going to take some getting used to taking off with the clutch.
Once I get comfortable with this ole bird, I'm going to have a blast with it!
