Although, I cannot attend, I share the enthusiasm and excitement of this event. As most of you know, I will be driving my 42 year old Triumph TR6 cross country from Phoenix AZ to Niagara Falls Canada and onward to NYC to visit family. The trip is primarily for a national TR6 show held in Niagara falls between Sept. 6th-9th.

Classic Triumphs, cross country drives and Niagara Falls, that's about as good a reason not to be there as you could get. Be sure to share some photos of the trip and Triumphs. Same dates may cross paths with someone coming and going. Enjoy the event. Would have been nice to have another Kwang Yang X-5 there. Four years and four months and I've yet to see another Xciting 500 on the road or a 250 for that matter.

Hi Dave, We will be at the Marriott Gateway 6755 Fallsview Blvd, Niagara Falls, Ontario L2G 3W7 Canada. You can't miss the group! There are 70 cars registered so far. My cell number just in case is (480) 818-two101. There will be group drives however we will all be back on Saturday evening at 7 for an awards dinner and Sunday we will be leaving for NYC around 10-11 am. I hope it works out to meet up!
I believe the cars will all be parked on an upper parking deck Most of Saturday morning for the public show.

Phil, Despite living in a fairly large city, I have yet to see another Kwang Yang myself. The Burgs seem to be the popular choice of maxi's out here. I will say that after a year of ownership, I love my X500. It has been nothing but rock solid through the extreme temps. I will start a separate thread of my trip in the off topic section with photos when I return

I made a reservation for Wednsday to Sunday, but to be different I made it for the Comfort Suites in Lewisburg near to camping, but a real hotel.  I've been doing work for Comfort Hotels and I get an employee rate that's almost free. I like hotel comforts and when I'm not paying for them I can't complain.

Now as long as no work obligation intervenes to hurt me I'm golden to show. My only other remaining decision is take the Burgman or FJR.

I think I've talked my buddy Brian into going with me next week.  In case of the unforseen I'd booked my room with two double beeds instead of a queen, so I could take in a roommate.  Brian says he'll agree to tag along if I'll agree to spend a few days doing hills and turns after the rally in West Virginia.  It looks like my partners just get more extra work and I get more extra mountains.

My next trick would be to talk Brian into leaving the Cruiser home and taking the Burgman.  I doubt that I can, both because of his tastes and because the Burgman will need tires before we put another couple thousand miles on it. I think the Burgman is near to nine thousand miles now on the originial tires.  The FJR had new tires the day I bought it, so it's at about 2,500 miles on these tires and Brian's Yamaha is at about 6,500 miles.

Margaret and I (TO Scootz) send our regrets. With an ailing mother, and a very sick cat, we're going nowhere for a while.

Hope you all have fun.

I saw the gold Reflex and wondered if I had just previously missed it or what. Don't think I met you but I'm glad you made it over Thom, at least I got to see the scoot. I agree with Dan it looks sharp in gold.
