Sounds great! We will be staying at the Marriott on the falls on Sept 6-9th with the TR6. In fact, there should be about 100 of those cars in attendance

Thanks.
I'll keep in touch.
I know there are some scooters leaving from the Toronto area that might be interested in stopping in.

Things have been pretty slow lately on the Rally sign-up sheet so its time to let us know if you are coming.  We've got 30 committed riders and more than 10 dozen hamburgers. (Not to mention all the door prizes and free beer).

Let's go -- this is going to be a blast.

We called after the first of the year to check on sending a deposit. Their credit card machine was down so she asked if we could send $20. We did.

Think I will call later today or tomorrow to reserve a partial hookup RV site. It so happens that there is a rally of Pleasure-Way class B Motorhome owners at Hershey a week after the scoot rally. I sold my big diesel MH and got an old PW. Also got a modified Aluma MC trailer to pull the TMax. So my 17.5' Featherlite car trailer is for sale.

I've kind of said before that my world makes my schedule difficult to predict far ahead.  I've never signed up becuase I don't want to sign up and cancel.  If I can make it work with my schedule I'll go, but something can go wrong for me.  I just think I'm a little more of a hotel then camper and will probably reserve a room at a local Super 8 or Days Inn near the time that I think I know what I can do.

I would really like to show up although I guess I can't offer test rides on the FJR anymore.

BTW   Does anyone volunteer to go down to Florida with a truck so they can kidnap Norm with the love of his life load his FZ1 into the truck and hijack them to PA?  Sorry Norm not meaning to get strange, but if I can make it there it would be great to meet you and your new significant best friend.

Hope you can make it gurock, no worries about the FJR at least for me, I've been on one before.  In regards to the campgrounds you may still find accommodations comfortable.  They have tent cabins and RV's for rent.  The tent cabins don't have their own bathrooms but in all other respects they are like a little hotel room with a bonus covered patio and picnic table.  The grounds bathrooms and showers are very clean.  They also have RV's with all the comforts of home inside.  Granted those may all be booked by the time you decide you can make it but it's worth looking into if you wish to stay at the grounds with everybody.

I reserved an entire week.  On the morning of the 12th, I will depart Steel Steeds and drive down to Hershey for the big RV show and the Pleasure-Way owners rally.
At the scoots rally and the PW rally, I anticipate chipping into a pool to pay for food, beverages, firewood etc.  We did that a couple weeks ago at the Barth owners rally.  We also had a kitty to help somebody with their fuel and lot rent.  The winner got $300.

The best time to ride that is immediately after a healthy feeding of greasy eggs and maple cured bacon.  Add a cup of black coffee and your good to go.

Maggie, seriously are you getting any sleep at night...

I know, I'm just as excited...loading ride routes, reviewing gear list, getting bike sorted.  With the long weekend coming up I want to get out and ride some in this great weather!
