Give me a few days.
Had to do essential yard work today since last good day to do so. Tomorrow will be WAY different than the last week. Has been 40sF daily but tomorrow will be low 70sF... and rain... and very high wind. By that I mean they are forecasting over 60 mph winds with gusts into the 70s mph! Not a Derecho like we had last year but straight line wind with possible tornadoes in the mix. So not likely to ride tomorrow either.

Then again, that's all supposed to happen later in the day so we'll see what happens before that.

Last chance, almost, to get out and find my wife here Christmas gift. Well, one of them anyway. So went for a ride. 21 miles in a loop. Saw a few things along the way. Temps were right at 32F. BIG change from yesterday when it was a high of 74F! But the wind was a lot less... only 19 mph/30 mph gusts rather than 65 mph/80 mph gusts we saw most of the afternoon and last night.

Here's your over the top yard decorations. Admittedly a bit under inflated due to the mentioned severe weather we had in the previous 18 hours but I'm sure all will be full of air by tonight.



And the new tag to find is an outdoor landscaping business. Just happened to be headed here anyway so...

This one I'll have to pass on. Fruit markets don't really exist up here when temps trend below freezing on a daily basis. The closest I could possibly come to this is the produce area in the grocery store. I don't think the store will let me ride inside to where the apples and bananas are.

Any specialized market will do like a butcher shop, florist, Hispanic or  Asian food, etc.

1st of all, Happy New Year, y'all.
Here's your water shot. It's the area called Flesvos which is, now, the Athens waterfront. This area happens to be the cheap seats for marina parking.

(Obviously, the sun was in the wrong position, again!)


As a point of interest, had I even attempted to get the scoot up that close to the stadium in the summer I'd've had to ride over thirty-seventy-eleven tourists and that's hoping I could even squeeze the scoot between the tour buses to get up there and still be able to evade the law. Even today I had to hurry to get a shot with no people in it as there was a tour bus unloading as I drove in.

Looking outside I am missing my AK today. Well, yesterday also. The pavement is all clear and dry now, finally. Perfect for when I would usually be out riding. The temp this morning was only -4F and is currently up to just zeroF. Having the bike away is as hard for me as "winterizing" and parking it away for this season of cooler temps. Hopefully the problem with the heated grips system will be fixed soon so I can get back to riding.

And part of what is hard for me right now is that I know just the location of an arch so I can grab this tag... but nothing to ride.
Hmmm, maybe I could ride my wifes Metropolitan... But at these temps I don't know that I can comfortably do that since there is no heated grips on that scooter, and it is rather well put away being blocked by other "equipment" at the moment.

New tag... Woodworking store, or any wood store like a lumber yard that specializes in lumber AND wood finishes and paint and tools, etc. Not just lumber alone.

That means anyone can post a new tag without needing to grab the last one just to keep this game rolling.
The rules do not prevent me from doing so but I will abstain, at least for now, to give others the opportunity to pick their own tab to post. No need to grab the current one if that is too difficult to find... or you can if you want to. That is entirely optional at this point.
