Sorry totally off topic... have you been to Sugarfire out your way?? If so how are the lines??

I haven't been in a long time but I think it's busy most of the time from what I see when riding/driving by.

In reply to Dave's railway crossing .... a railway crossing which the neighbors insisted was closed.  But leaving access for fire trucks etc, it is closed by pipes with a padlock for "easy" removal --- as long as they don't forget the key in the fire station. In the background is the local Catholic Church.  There are often sermons interrupted by the horn of passing trains.  This is the main CNR line into Halifax, N.S.

As a tag ... how about a golf course.

Update on my earlier unique house tag, it's slowly coming along and it is going to be unique.

Is this still going on or just one of those long lulls? I had a golf course tag a few days ago on another board and was thinking 2 for one. After seeing the last post date I changed my mind.
Well, now I've decided to ask.......

Post a pic and see who plays. Riding season always makes it fun to find the target.

Ok, the picture I took to get the grab:
The golf course. The gate was across the street and was closed, so I took one with the sign.

And I went out today to get a pic for the new tag:
A softball or baseball field.

Spring has finally arrived in NS ..... (in NB it was flood season and they have had a rough time).  But a couple of pictures showing the  "local ski hill" last Sunday ... the first ride of any distance this season  (only 125kms) and some spring color today.

Take a look at the NS webcam to see the amount of melt in a week in comparison to these pictures.
https://www.novascotiawebcams.com/en/webcams/ski-martock/

And some color ... while it lasted.

I was thinking your machine is also one of the classics ( I too am not prejudiced in any way) and I was trying to come up with a mascot for the tail of the bike as well.  But I think you have that so well nailed. but I'll keep thinking.  LOL.   I should have looked at the tag before I headed out today.  But maybe tomorrow the heavy equipment will be found.  This scooter tag can be a lot of fun.

Ok, I've been following this tread since I started around here but I've never seen/heard/read/known the rules. Any chance for a bit of help in that department?

Hi Don,

Better to hear the "rules" from Maggie; but as I understand it ..... someone puts up a picture of their machine in a particular setting or background and "challenges" the next person to put their machine in a similar setting as the tag, posting the picture, of course.  That person adds and another picture of their machine in a different setting which becomes the setting or challenge for the next person to match.

Clear as mud ?

Got it, tks.

So, if, now I post a picture of my scoot in front of a piece of heavy equipment I can then, say, post a picture of it in front of the Acropolis and the next guy would need to find an ancient Greek temple?

Passports ready???

Guess I'll be searching for an ancient Greek temple in Nova Scotia ..... unless I can beat Don to some heavy machinery....

I may have to request the "tag" judges to grant clemency and rule on how old "ancient" has to be. 1980 ? maybe.

Fortunately, there is a LOT of heavy machinery around here AND a Greek Orthodox church, Unfortunately, I'm stuck working all day, LOL

I've been on several forums playing tag games and the main purpose is to encourage a ride. For an example, we had a Canadian that posted a photo in front of a hockey stadium, but none of our southern players could get the tag, so one of the riders gets a hockey jersey and stick, poses it with his dog by his scooter and claims the tag since it was hockey related. The game kept moving. No one complained.

The purpose is to ride, share the photos, and ride some more. Laugh at someone's creativity at claiming the tag.......
If you don't have heavy equipment to tag with around you, get a toy toy truck for example and place it on your seat, take the photo, claim the tag, and post that Greek temple.

Ok, lets see if I got this right.

'Bama posted a shot of some heavy equipment so I post a shot of the Scoot and The Dragon.

Then Taz and The Ten post a shot of a cityscape. (You'll want to note the color coordinated presentation.)

Taz came into the family many years ago while Barb and I found ourselves, quite by surprise, in Mobile for the 1st night of Mardi Gras!

That's no temple, that's St. George an orthodox church atop Mount Lycabettus, the highest point in the city. The Acropolis is farther to the left.
