Happy Veterans Day to MANY of you here that proudly served!! No matter the country, thank you.
Thank you for your sacrifice, your bravery, and the example you set for us all. In short, thank you for your service!

HUGE HUGS to the love of my life: Pete served most his time during the Vietnam war at what he does best. Healing others. Pete worked with vets who were coming home after being injured.

Pictured is my Father... he served in San Antonio like Pete. Pete was at Lackland (early 70's) and my Father was at Kelly (late 50's-1962). My Grandfather (mother's Father) was Commander of Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, he also oversaw the White Sands missile testing and contracted cancer due to being there. (As told by my Mother)

+1 Maggie.  Thanks Pete.

My Dad served in WWII. Went to Pearl Harbor after the attack. Thank you Dad and all of our veterans.

Nice picture of your Dad.

Hey Maggie, I was at Lackland AFB in 1971. Who knows, maybe Pete and I crossed paths back then.

Thanks Maggie!

I was on a U.S. Coast Guard Ice Breaker Polar Star WAGB-10 and did a back to back deployment to the Antarctic Pole and the Arctic Pole  and during this time I became a Square Knot sailor by sailing all Seven Seas.  All 30 years ago now, as time has passed by quite quickly.

Thank you to all who served!

Pete said he was at Wilford Hall Medical Center.  He worked in the psych unit.

Thank you very much, Maggie.

My dad served with the 10th Mtn. Division in Italy during WWII and was a Silver Star recipient.  I served two tours in Vietnam as an army helicopter pilot in ‘68–‘69, and ‘71–‘72.

To all the veterans here, thank you for your service!

Here’s something I ran across this morning that I thought was worthwhile watching.
