I am looking for suggestions on converting the under-seat light to an outlet for plug in. I would put in a self contained battery powered led light to replace the under seat light. It is easy to leave the seat unseated and drain down the battery with the present light. thanks Jim

You may want to swap an LED lamp into the socket. I did this years ago on my Reflex, it can stay on for days without running down the battery. But you should latch your seat, unexpected things can get in there like bees, spiders and curious mice.

I agree w/ changing to an LED bulb in there. When I had my last Majesty, I added this on the dash. It was easy to do and wired it to the switched relays under the windshield and cover. It wasn't hard. I took out the light it has been left on a few times--and it is not very bright. The under seat light power goes out when you close the seat-must be a switch somewhere? I do have a pig tail for the battery tender which I have used. My Mp3 500 has an under the seat USB and plug in port(cig lighter type). You can leave things charging locked under the seat. thanks Jim
