It was long overdue.  Nice pic by the way, I really like the RV-250.  It has a fresh look.

That is a nice looking scoot.  Can you compare it to anyother scoot?  Or is this your first scoot.  Just curious.

I'm 6'3". I actually feel pretty good on the scoot. It doesn't have the leg room like the Burgman has.

Like these too!

Honestly if I had my way, I'd have a burgie, s'wing, morphous, tmax, majesty, people, .... yea... pretty much one of each :P

Also, if I had my way, the one bike rule would be illegal...

Dan, you know this stuff better than I, does that picture look like the aspect ratio wasn't saved when resizing?

Edited to add - Mike, check out PhotoPilot's scoot, he had his seat redone to remove the butt pad, etc.

Don't think so Phil, the photo looks to be the correct aspect ratio.  For bikes usually the first tell is the wheels, if they look odd something is amiss.  Take a look at Norm's avatar, squishy, squishy, squishy.

Yup, at 6'3" you're just a shorty guy. I'm 6'6" and it was necessary to get my seat rebuilt. Here's a shot to show the whole seat. I'll take some more photos this weekend to show the underside of the seat so you can see how it was done. I love the bench type seat as I can slide my ass back far enough so that my legs are in that comfortable "cruiser" style position. The only thing I'm now thinking of doing is moving the handlebars backwards by about an inch, and maybe an inch higher as well. It's a winter project and I think Twistedthrottle.com has some pieces that allow a change in bar mounting position.

Thanks guys, but she doesn't look so good after today. Rode in a very gusty wind (40-60 kph gusts) and when I got home I noticed that the "floorboard" on my left side was gone. Now I ride with the cruiser position and feet forward so there is NOTHING on the floorboard for the foot-flat position. Now I've got 4 holes (I presume where clips went) but absolutely no floorboard. Kinda pisses me off to say the least. Wonder how long, and at what cost it will take to get a replacement from the dealer.

Wow, that's one I've never heard before. Have you tried retracing your steps? If you're lucky maybe it blew out of the road but not so far you couldn't see it from the road.

I thought of that but it's over 30 miles of road and for much of that time I was in the left lane of a 4 lane road and it's the left floor mat. So it would have been out in the middle of the road likely and if the plastic part was run over by a car, well the clips would have been destroyed anyway. So will be contacting the dealer for a replacement. Nice thought anyway.
