Let's also hope there will be a proven, safety tested and widely available COVID19 vaccine by then. Here in Canada, the government scientists and politicians talk about having one in the late 2nd, early 3 quarter of next year. They also say it will likely be a two-shot vaccination process.

I will make sure ours is not the same week if at all possible. If you see their dates go up, let me know please.

So now the question is: will someone step up and plan this event in Arkansas this year?

Right now I'm planning on attending the STO the following week. So are we John ... IF ... we end up heading down to Arkansas at all and that's the million dollar question for us right now. We've done the two Arkansian rallies back-to-back before and it was a great two weeks of riding and socializing for us. However, this year we face some challenges. First, the Canadian/USA land border crossings have been closed to non-essential travel since March 21, 2020 and still remain closed for who knows how long. Second, Canada is way behind our guesstimated inoculation timetable due to a shortage of vaccine (apparently those with deeper pockets and/or more political clout bumped us from our spot in the supply chain). Our Gov't is now telling us it'll likely take us until September 2021 before anyone who wants to be inoculated might be inoculated. So now the question is: will someone step up and plan this event in Arkansas this year? If I recall correctly, most of the heavy planning lifting was completed by Maggie. She and others already put time and effort into this and the suggested routes were planned and posted in the previous "Cancelled - 2020 Rally Thread" - Link = http://maxi-scoots.com/scoot/index.php?board=50.0 . There was also information gathered on accommodations etc. So I think much of the initial planning has been completed. What is required is an overall "Rally Coordinator" to organize and delegate certain roles i.e. like recruiting/identifying daily Ride Leaders; appoint an Accommodations Liason/Confirmer; perhaps identify an Evening Get-together/Social Coordinator type person etc. I guess it'll depend how many are motivated to make the 2021 Maxi-Scoot Arkansas Meet Up happen and whether there are enough people willing to lend a hand in some way.

Winn Plans and leads fantastic rides
Thanks. I have my plate full with a bunch of rides and events that I will be setting up this year so if I come to Arkansas it will be as a follower. I went to STO back in 2013 and enjoyed it so I will consider going this year if the MaxiScoots rally doesn't happen. I doubt I would do both. If the Maxiscoots rally doesn't happen this year ya'll are welcome to come to Maggie Valley for the "Beat the Heat" scooter Gathering. The exact date hasn't been set yet but will likely by in August. I expect a lot more people to show up this year than the 30 we had last year.

The beauty of Arkansas is the roads are right there, just start riding. There are an amazing amount of roads leading in and out of Harrison. https://www.motorcycleroads.com/motorcycle-rides-in/arkansas
