Let's Ride!!!!!!

« on: October 24, 2020, 12:50:25 PM »

HAMS rally was a precursor to our present Maxi Scoot Rally

Pete and I have visited the BIG TREE a few dozen times.  It's one of our favorite riding destinations.

As of last night I read they feel the tree like most things in life is a dying thing however they feel this tree will survive this latest lightning strike and be around longer than us.

I read an article once that the Indians called this the Buffalo tree and used it as a marker when they traveled up and down the Missouri River.  Lewis and Clark most certainly saw the tree.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures of the Big Tree.

The pictures do not do her justice... she's enormous!

It's a scooterful day in the neighborhood!

Was the first HAMS the one based out of St. Louis at one of the local hotels?
