the photo shows the integrated turn signals. Did they get a waiver for those? DOT has disapproved them previously.

Will be interesting to see how Kymco sets this model up for export to USA. The dimensions I recall are 9" separation between the rear turn signals, and 16" for the front.

My 2009 TMax has a wrap around rear light setup, not sure whether it should be called 'integrated' though, but the turn signal bulbs have sufficient separation. Don't know the current rear turn signal separation on the AK550.

Yamaha added horizontal stalks up front to provide sufficient separation on the TMax, although some owners remove them and install turn signals intended for non-US markets. Kymco may have to do something similar if the AK550 has less than 16" separation.
