We get this stuff regularly.
It WILL take the shine off your turtle wax.
It WILL get into everything you think you've got sealed. Certified water tight doors on our ship!
It WILL turn into mud if you don't apply enough water.
It WILL stain your clothes.
It WILL make great polishing grit. It's finer than toothpaste.

So Uncle Clampett and the Mandalorian were on Tatooine? (that line made the spellchecker work hard)

We get some great sunsets up here in the summer (like at 2 or 3 am) when smoke from forest fires drifts into our area.  The sun gets blood red at time.  Yeah, in the “Land of the Midnight Sun,” we do get sunsets, just in time for it to rise again!  And for a short time, it doesn’t even get dark, just sort of dusk.  We love the long hours of daylight.

It was one of the reddest sunsets here last night, that I have ever seen.  And we are on the very distant fringes of the dust. This is a picture from last night of the sunset on Oak Island from the site:https://www.facebook.com/oakislandfromtheothersideofthecauseway.  The latest entry says that Choice are back with more sonic blasting (I think she means drilling.)

There have been no new Covid cases here for the past 17 days and there are no active cases presently; but two people are recovering in hospital. None in ICU at present. The total deaths due to the virus stands at 63 people.
