I visited the doctor for my annual check up. I said since I was here, I'd like some advice. My wife is starting to develop hearing issues but refused to go for a check up.
Is there a way to unofficially test how bad her hearing loss is?
An informal test would be to speak in a normal tone from different distances until a response is received he replied.
Great, I'll try it in the morning I replied.
Next morning, wife is cooking breakfast. The bedroom is next to the kitchen.
So, I said "Dear, what's for breakfast?" in a normal voice. The door was open, so she should have heard me. I waited. No response.
I walked over to the door. Repeated my inquiry. Still no response after 30 seconds.
I stepped into the kitchen, just inside the door and repeated the question. Still, no response.
I walked up about 2 feet behind and repeated the question again in a normal tone of voice.
She abruptly turned, faced me, and replied "For the FOURTH TIME, BACON & EGGS!!!!!"
