Wife bought me some new scales. She said since I was getting to be an old man and my belly was sticking out so much, she would buy some talking scales so I could check my weight easier.
So, this morning she opened the box for me, set it on the floor and checked that it worked. She stepped on the scales and a pleasant female voice said "Good morning, your weight is..."
and promptly announced her weight. She was so excited and giggling. I could see her happiness in her eyes as she had provided me something to make my life a bit easier.
"Your turn." she said as she stepped off, kissed me, then pushed me toward the scales. I stepped onto the scales, and the dial lit up.
Then a harsh male voice announced "One at a time please!"
