Don't sweat the small stuff...it's all small stuff

I recently got a new iPhone 11 for my birthday, as my old iPhone 8 Plus was getting long in the tooth and had been devouring the battery.  I found that the 11 has a very nice camera in it.  Anyway, we have several African violets in the house, and I particularly like this one for itís pretty, pastel blue blossoms.  I thought the iPhone 11 camera did a pretty fair job of capturing it.  Just to add some brightness to the gloomy political situation in our country.  Besides, I just like taking photos of flowers, anyway.

Congrats on the new "phone". (Why do we call them phones anymore?) And, I agree, the camera seems to do a pretty good job.

Thanks, Don.  These things just keep getting better and better with each new edition.

Thank you.  That’s what I thought about that flower.  Just pleasant, restful.

Gorgeous!!

Thank you, Maggie.  Of all the violets Peggy has, I like this one the best.  I guess because it’s a bit different.

Great shot Greg ..... and Happy Birthday !!
Always good to get a new "toy" or "upgrade"  to mark a special day.
And congrats to Peggy in growing the photogenic plant, too.

Thank you, Mike.  Peggy seems to have a way with African violets.  She just had to throw away one that, for some reason was deformed and gnarly-looking.
