Yesterday the Air Force did a flyover over Wasilla as a tribute honoring the first responders and medical people dealing with Covid-19.  It was two C-17 Globemasters, and they were impressive.  On the return loop they flew right over our house, so I was out in the front yard taking pictures.  I had to do some cropping and rotating of the images because the angle they were coming at made it appear that they were pointed straight up in the air.  I guess maybe because they were pretty low, probably around 800 feet.  Here’s some shots I got.

Great shots Greg of a most impressive plane.    One of these heading to an air show here several years ago passed over our place too.  Yup, really impressive.

Wow that's awesome.  We had the MO National Guard B2 Stealth Bomber flyover re the healthcare salute.   We could not see it for the trees.  These are friends shots.  We heard it but never saw.

A friend of mine in Springfield, MO got a great shot of the bottom.

We were going to go down by the river here but we were afraid to many people would be out.

Nice shots Greg and Maggie.  We had the Navy Blue Angels fly over Chicago last week I went out during lunch to watch but I only heard them.  I wasn’t in a good position to see them.  So no pics. But I have seen them at our Air Shows in the past.  I saw them on the news app live. Not the same.

Cool pics of the stealth bomber.  No, you don’t see that one every day.

Maggie, you didn't see it, but heard it .... was it hushed and low volume ... ie being secretative.  Bet there are some aeronautical engineers out there who find it hard to believe that that can fly.  All about air foil pressures isn't it.

I have had the B2 fly low over my house and hushed or low volume did not come to mind. LOUD. Was doing a flyover for a deceased B2 pilot at the cemetery a mile away.
