Title: Should you ever be..
Post by: Three not 8 on September 07, 2012, 10:25:30 PM
Down Cape Girardeau way, this is what they have done with the approach to the old bridge. Pretty cool we thought. Nice early morning stop last June after a delightful repast in Benton MO.

David, did you all get over to the Bollinger Covered Bridge?

Well Maggie and all, I should have specified Cape Girardeau, MO. That being said, we recreated the great Missouri Covered Bridge tour for the benefit of the fellow we had traveling with us. Way different on the Spyder, way fun! So, in answer to your question here is Bollinger, under repair

Now it's moving on to Sandy Creek

Now let's go to Mark Twain country and the Union covered bridge

And last but not least, at least for Missouri, Locust Creek, but with no creek.

As an aside here is a bridge in Madison County Iowa. Most of the rest are down gravel roads that are a huge no no for Spyder drivebelts.

Now, what was the question, I forgot.

I have probably been to Sandy Creek about 1,000 times now, it is near our home.
